What happens when we channel our chronological snobbery as C.S. Lewis referred to it? What kind of decisions are we making when we listen to truths that are not ours? What narratives matter? Which ones don’t?
For all the nonsense people and churches and constructs and societal expectations have tried to get us to believe over the course of our lives, I have one thing to tell you: There is no “supposed to.” At the end of the day what God says is simply, “live like I created you to be.” Love me and love your neighbors. That’s it. Oh and P.S. don’t be a narrow-minded A-hole please and thank you.
